Bled is the spot to visit in Slovenia and I completely understand why. With the beauty of the lake and the Julian Alps as the backdrop, it’s no wonder that this once-hidden gem has now become widely popular.
That being said finding where to stay in Lake Bled can be tricky, especially if you’re booking during the popular summer months of June, July and August.

Best Area to Stay in Lake Bled
Bled is a very small area so no matter you where you stay in Bled you will not be far from any of the attractions, including Lake Bled itself. In fact, accommodation shouldn’t be more than a 10-15 minute walk from the lake but if you prefer to be lakeside then just be sure to check out Google Maps and where exactly the accommodation is!

Apartments Cilka Covic
Studio and multiple bedroom apartments can be found at Apartments Cilka Covic which is 1km from Lake Bled, about a 10-minute walk.
The walk itself into town is very pretty and you’re just outside the hustle and bustle of the town but not too far to enjoy the amenities that are within the town.
Breakfast is served daily and drinks are served at the on-site bar. This is one of the best places to stay in Lake Bled on a budget.

Best Luxury Lake Bled Accommodation
You have a few options when it comes to Lake Bled luxury hotels and these won’t disappoint, in fact, these Bled hotels will wow.
Hotel Park
One of the largest, most rated hotels and also one of the best hotels in Bled, this luxury 4-star hotel is not unaffordable either and you’ll have a trip with all of the trimmings plus a grand view at Hotel Park.
Each room has a balcony and has views of Lake Bled or the surrounding park. Amenities on-site include a restaurant, bar, a large pool, gym and a wellness centre.
Vila Bled
Stay right on the shores of Lake Bled itself and in the former summer residence of President Tito.
At this spectacular hotel you’ll have stunning views from your spacious room and access to a luxurious spa, an on-site restaurant serving Slovenia and international cuisine and a private swimming deck for hotel guests only.
Pets are welcome, a delicious breakfast is included and the amenities are stellar.
Adora Luxury Hotel

Best Budget Lake Bled Accommodation

Castle Hostel 1004
This Bled hostel is where I personally stayed while visiting Bled and I have no complaints about this hostel.
The location of perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the bus station, 2-minutes from a grocery store, less than 10-minutes from Lake Bled and plenty of restaurants within walking distance too.
The hostel is medium-sized with a large kitchen, plenty of places to sit and socialize and a great outdoor terrace that has awesome views of the town.
The price is right, each bed has a reading light, locker and a power socket and there were never issues with bathrooms or showers.
Bled Hostel
After Castle Hostel 1004, Bled Hostel is the next most rated (and highly) hostel. The location is also ideal, only 50 metres from the bus station and 200 metres from Lake Bled and the castle.
Everything is at your fingertips including restaurants and shops. The hostel itself has a kitchen, bar, laundry, BBQ area and more.
Garden House Bled
Garden House Bled is just so charming I had to include it as a recommendation. The hostel itself is actually four houses that are connected by a garden. Two of the houses are 4-bed dorms while the others are private rooms.
You’re free to pick food from the garden and each house is designed differently with reused materials that create a funky yet cozy vibe.
